hey Gilligan .... the mortgage isnt an offset one ... i dont think i would be any good with one of those mortgages tbh .....

the highest apr that i have is with the mortgage as well so it does make more sense to pump the money into the mortgage ... but i want to ensure that at the end of the 100 months i have some savings as well ... i think more for the psychological boost than anything else ... so i should really decide whether to look at it as i am offsetting the debt or as totally seperate savings ... more for how i work it out than anything else ... it makes sense to see it as offsetting but i think i need to see we have savings as well ... so maybe seperate ...

well that was a waffle lol

soup is cooking as i type .. it smells lovely cant wait to taste it

no other plans for the night a lazy bath and an earlynight ... we have the marriage guidence tomorrow so i want to be fresh for that ... and brush my hair ... wonders will never cease lol

just been to Asda ( i cant stand that shop) got loads of smart price stuff for soup so gonna actually make some nutritious soup to kick start my looking after my health again ...

hubby had bought two bottles of ginger for £1.50 only it didnt come off at the checkout .... so i went to customer services and it appears because they wernt the same brand of ginger that we didnt get the deal .... so i said hey no worries i'll just get a total refund that'll be £2.28 you need to give me back ... she hastily handed me 78p and said it's ok we will let it go this once .... the look she gave me was like i was scum on the bottom of her shoe ... i mean imagine going back about something like that .... she will learn she has a long way to go before she shames an mse'r lol

Sniffles proudly:D:T And well done for brushing hair as well:D

Went to marriage guidence counselling today.... Hubby found it hard going .... He is struggling with the process of want and need .... He came away feeling quite down and sad ... But we've discussed it now and he is slowly seeing the positives of the session

Havnt done much else today as that kinda took over .... But we are going to the pics shortly for an orange Wednesday so although it's still gonna mean spending money ... It is money saving

Oh and I went to the shop and bought some diluting juice which I have paid nearly £2 for a litre for before .... This time I got 3litres for £2 so that's a plus

He/she certainly sounds like they know their business. I think i should go down this route as well.

Enjoy the pics, and no wonder you haven't done a lot else, it takes up a lot of thinking and emotions will be highly charged. :kisses3:

    .

Just wondered why you're going if it's presumably negative in some way?

Oh, you asked about savings versus debt repayment earlier, I know technically if the debt is a higher rate than the savings you should pay it off. But in emergencies you can't necessarily get cash, so some sort of buffer is good too. Just upto you as to how much you put where.
