hey no worries northern lass ... i know how busy busy can get
well i have been night shift overtime ... it's extra money ... and i'm gonna make sure the overtime isnt in vain and wasted on rubbish ... i should make roughly an extra £100 after tax so with the £100 i am going to put 25% towards my asset planting 30% will be for enjoying/expenses 30% will be towards debt and 15% towards our saving
i have also managed to pick up another shift in April which will bring in roughly £50 i think i will use the same percentages for that as well
tomorrow hubby and i are going to learn how to trim our fruit trees ... the nature park that i love is running a course on fruit tree pruning ... we dont have a clue what we are doing and we have several fruit trees on our land so i need to learn how to prune them right ... so a day of education and fun planned for tomorrow
had to get the car fixed today at a cost of £300 so that will be just shy of £400 spent on it this week ... and nearly £1100 this year not including diesel etc ... i have also been told we need to spend a nother few hundred before it's m.o.t but we dont have to do that straight away so that is something
havnt heard anything from the guy about land yet .. ... not going to hold my breath but it would be nice if it came off
in other news i have brushed my hair (yay) i have moisturized ( yay) but no make up ... hubby is slowly starting to feel better again but has now damaged his back trying to keep himself busy ( he has had a bad back for a few years now)
i'm enjoying reading rich dad poor dad two it is deff giving me a lot to think about.. i will start the tim ferris book next and move on from there0 -
Can you salt the extra cash into a spare account that you won't touch so that it mounts up for either emergencies (ie car troubles) or a treat (eg holiday)?Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

well i do try and put £150 a month into an account that is aimed at paying car insurance house insurance and car repairs ... truthfully we need a new car and sooner rather than later so we are trying to save for that (hence the % for saving)
we are going on holiday soon but have agreed that this will be our last "big" holiday will we are out of debt ... we can no longer justify the amount we spend on holidays to places like Florida whilst we are in so much debt ... we never actually could justify it ... we just kidded ourselves on we could manage it and deserved it ...
that attitude needs to change for us0 -
