    Morning Flybabes!

    No idea what I'm doing this morning. Went out with friends last night - thought I paced myself and have woken up feeling dreadful! I have DS's nativity in 20 mins and I'm a 'Mummy helper' at pre-school this afternoon. Haven't written any Christmas cards and I'm out tonight as well so goodness knows when they'll be done. Need to try and keep on top of washing, ironing and housework but just cannot keep up. Conservatory/decorating almost finished though. Must fly.

    Have a good day all.

    We had daughter 4's nativity today and this afternoon I caught up on some sleep.. well how can I stay awake tonight in the pub if I've not had a nap?? lol

    I'm off christmas shopping with my mother in an hour or so and hubby is off doing his tonight too, my sis is watching the little people.

    The DW has been done, and dinner is in the slowcooker and I sliced my finger down to the bone chopping potatoes!!! .. no I didn't go for stitches.. I stuck a plaster on it.. tight!! and replaced it when it was bled through.

    I'll try to get the washers and dryers and dishwasher on again so I feel like I have done something, however little!

    Take 10 mins in your bathroom and chuck any bottles and cosmetics that are past their best, or you haven't used for 12 months.

    Morning :)

    I don't have any excess bathroom stuff the clear so I've shined my shower (didn't do it the other day . . . ) Will do the rest of the ensuite this morning and get one of the boys to do their bathroom this weekend.

    Also:
    Laundry - two loads through, one to go;
    Dinner - in crockpot;
    Accountant coming at 9am;
    Wash floors (might do this before acct comes . . . )
    Phone Telecom and get call minder dropped;
    Get $60 out to pay for lamb that got put in my freezer last night;
    Do business banking;
    Christmas cards - find them;
    Christmas wrap - check if I have enough;
    Maybe sort some more shopping out with boys;
    MILs garden.

    It's meant to be a glorious day here today, so I'd best be off and out into it.

    Well the electrician came yesterday and it took him over 2 hours to fit a new fusebox :rolleyes: Doesn't help that our house is like the hobs of hell (as my mum would say) without lights on so he had to do the work by torch light. Anyways, he's got to come back to change a double socket (switch has broken) and label up the fusebox. I'm assuming he will be coming today as he was meant to come yesterday evening and didn't. :mad:

    Good news is that OH's bike (which has been sitting under the stairs since we moved here in June 2004 and prior to that it sat in the spare room for at least a year! It was because he got a company car though so there was an excuse..at first!) has been sold via ebay so that was £30 cash in hand for me :D That is close on £100 we've made in 2 weeks, okay so we spent £36 on a new Router and postage costs (we needed one) but once I've paid my fees then I'll be transfering the money over from Paypal to my bank account to make up for the £300 overspend :o I'm not in my overdraft BUT my money is supposed to be organised in such a way that I have the monthly rent left over at the end of the month and this month we're about £300 short :confused: I'll have to get that back up to £400 so we have a small buffer amount.

    Anyways, plans for today are :
    • KBBD
    • Dust livingroom
    • Shredding
    • Pressies
    • Evening meal - Tuna and Sweetcorn Pasta bake (jar :o )
    I have errands this weekend as well to run
    • Hand-deliver cards to Nans neighbours
    • Go to DIY shop for Santas list he gave me
    • Finish of making up pressies
    • Wrap pressies
    • Write Special Christmas Cards with DD (Aunty, Nanna & Grandad etc ;) )
    • Charity shop run with a box of stuff, maybe more. :rolleyes:
    Best get on with Pigsback since I have stuff to do today :wave:
    Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
    Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • Morning all, just quickly to post what we finished last evening.

    Lasagne – made by DD
    Garlic bread – made by DD
    Lay table – done by small penguins
    Choir folder and outfit
    Shopping – put away

    DH was about to call off taking me out, as the weather was awful when we got up, but it's a bit brighter now, so my list will be postponed until this evening. Small penguins are off to the school ball, so evening in.

    Have a great day, Penny. x

    I've deleted my done items as it is driving me mad editing every day. ;) Not a very good use of my time writing it or yours reading it.

    I have plans with DH to get a lot of this done over the weekend. Baby is still poorly so that is holding me back. I think i'll break the kitchen into 5 minute chunks like the bathroom and then i might see some more progress. (perhaps do one thing each time i boil the kettle. :rotfl:

    I'm still keeping up with dealing with the post,making the bed and a washload daily. We've still got nine days to the big event, so there's still loads of time.

    Hugs all round,
    Michelle, xx
