Have hoovered upstairs and decluttered Bathroom & ensuite - not too difficult as I did it last time Flylady hit the bathroom and in true MSE/OS fashion we've tried to use up all toiletries before buying any new and keep to the mimimum. Any travel size / free sample toiletries are popped in a basket for visitors and / or travel washbags. Punky x

I bought so much bathroom smelly stuff as an avon rep I had to give up lol. I quit 4 years ago.. and I 'm STILL using it.. I've not bought a single bottle of bubble bath in all that time and still got enough to bath everyone everynight for 100 years! We are getting through it though!.. the 2 small ones tipped a whole bottle down the bath last week!

  • Hi everyone. ;)

I'm still with you in spirit but struggling with the reality as i'm trying to get bubs into a routine. Doesn't help as i've been ill, and now struggling with my back from the shuffle and jiggle required to stop the colic. I can't win.

We had visitors at the weekend so we had a good hoover/clean of downstairs, DH did the hall and stairs, and left the hoover upstairs so it will get done as i suddenly had a thought that it hadn't been done since before charlie, which was nearly 8 weeks ago now. Grim! I'm having to be creative, so i've started buying facial wipe cloths as i'm not having time to cleanse my skin or clean the bathroom, and one wipe will do my face and then the sink. Also, washed the soap dishes before i got out of the bath so that got done too. :D

Think it might work a bit better for me if i have some weekly targets, and that way i'm not put off if i have a bad day and can't get on the 'puter. So, as its monday, here goes.

Michelle's targets for week commencing 11/12/2006:

    Spare room
    • tackle ironing on bed
    • run hoover around

    our room
    • tackle washing mountain
    • swap bedding
    • run hoover around

    • finish buying presents, grandad, his wife, mum, dad, both sisters, one nephew, one cousins baby

this is everything i would like to do before xmas, so i'm expecting some to carry over to next week, but will see what i can get done, depending on how many hours DH ends up working, and how mardy the baby is. ;)

    ooh good luck michelle

Maybe if you start with the Xmas lights they might soothe the little one, its certainly reduced my stress since they have gone up- albeit we have one set in the palm tree and thats about the extent of our decoration!

Flyboy, I am challenging thread alcy. I started at 4 and am cheerfully well done now. Does not bode well for the ironing pile! I dare not use the steam press in this state. Punky, thanks for the offer but I have a fridge full and am stewing nicely.

As predicted we did not exchange today and we will not be moving on Thursday. Glad I didnt waste any time packing, hurrah.

Didnt do much else today so I am sat in the naughty corner :D .

Goose - got one fresh from Sainsburys last year but was c £45, o/w Morrisons order frozen ones for £20.
