Right well today I have the boys and at home all day so here goes my first ever list, this is just for today aswell as the usual looking after kids and ceaning up after them, can't do hoovering today with son being home but can sweep floors in rooms with laminate & use my bissel.

    [STRIKE]
    • strip my bed, wash all linen, turn mattress and freshen it up
    [/STRIKE] just need drying
    [STRIKE]
    • wipe down all of the bed frame and legs, figure out which slat is broken and measure so I can buy new one instead of buying whole new bed
    [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]
    • clear the junk out of the bedroom, and clean floor
    [/STRIKE] - most done
    • fill bin bag of clothes for nephew

    [STRIKE]
    • sort a drawer in my room for cosmetics (just redecorated bathroom and sick of the clutter, determined it won't get like that again)
    [/STRIKE]
    • sort through the mountain of cosmetics and toiletries I have found any new stuff I won't use in bag for kids school fayre
    [STRIKE]
    • keep on top of washing up and make sure sink is kept shining
    [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]
    • sort this desk out so I can see the monitor, do a paper clear out, I think flylady calls it a paper patrol, I'll let the kids shred it, keeps them busy too

Think that will do for today, if I get anything extra done will be a bonus, wish me luck.

And thanks hex2, you're right, Rome wasn't built in a day and neither was this mess, I'll get there, however long it takes. Just need some motivation!

UPDATE - Well I did what is striked through and have managed to fill two wheelie bins with rubbish, think I have done quite well. :o Proud of my little self.

  • Good Morning Campers!

It's nearly 8am and I'm dressed to shoes :D Make up an everything - feel all posh doing my housework like this - I normally slum it and get dressed properly just before the school run if I'm on a HW mission!

I've already checked some things off my daily list - swished & swiped :D, shined my sink :D, laundry, beds etc, so won't bore the thread with them!

Here is my to do list today so far:

    buy pepperoni
    pay studio
    pay index
    Post ebay stuff
    Post books
Move xmas pressies out of front room
    Ironing

I'm sure stuff will be added as I go through the day!

Right, off to finish my other morning routines, work on my to do list for the day, and do the school run before doing my Weekly Home Blessing Hour :A

    lynz: Good luck :)
DeniseNZ Touche :) Brilliant - hope you reduce that mountain this week - I'm reallyREALLY going to start that today!
Lil_Me Good luck with your first to do list :)

Right, really am going now :D

Lynz and Shell - big lists, good luck with them.

Home today, waiting for post to come with a sign for letter.
We had a busy weekend shifting furniture and getting some packing done on the top floor in anticipation (the best way to make the sale fall through says the cynic) but I have run out of boxes now. Seriously thinking about buying some.

Need to do ground floor general clean, and then have a good tidy of the now nearly empty top floor. Chase the stupid parish council up about agreeing to the sale of the former allotment bit of our land. In between monsterwatching of course. How I look forward to the school run.......

On Saturday I scrubbed the plastic dogs beds in the bath but had to put their bedding through the washing machine. Afterwards had to clear the hairs out, dismantle half the machine, etc. Still not great so I ran a maintenance wash again - no soda chrystals, no vinegar so I bunged some stardrops in. Whoops. I rather liked the foam monster that was making its way through the utility next time I went in..........
