Am in mourning for TNG's departure  even have the black microfibre cloth from dusting the living room ~ hangs head in shame.

Just thought I would pop in to see how everyone is getting on, I've only managed so far to get to work for 8am, here for many more hours before I can go home to start my flying.

I am trying soooooo hard to come up with a shopping list for our monthly shop but I just cannot get a list written  I've resorted to sitting here with every receipt for groceries for the last month working my way through them  At least I keep them for reconciling against my bank statement (which I haven't got around to doing ... yet :o) and haven't thrown them out.

But now the post has just arrived with a 0% offer for me in and I'm now sidetracked by trying to work out whether we can transfer most of the CC balance on that card over to another card, to transfer back without running up LOADS of fees  BUT it is actually easier than trying to write a shopping list :rotfl::rotfl: Must get on with the job

  • I hate having to write out a shopping list - I always find myself procrastinating over that job and then don't do it and overspending!!

First I look to see what's in freezer/cupboards - so I can make use of the stuff, then I plan out 7 meals (depends how often you shop), then I work out what I need to make them - sounds easy - strangely isn't!

As for me, I'm taking a lunch break now!! But here's the progress so far today - got lots of things crossed off :D

Usually a list just writes itself in this house and I have the one or two items where I go "I need that as well even though its not on the list" when i'm in the shop and it's not a problem. The thing is I just can't get my brain into gear and I don't want to end up spending a fortune and throwing things out...not this close to Christmas

Anyways, I've just decided (and OH is going to LOOOOOVVVVVEEEEE me for this one :D:rotfl: ) I want to Fly lady my house top to bottom this weekend :D I'm an evil so 'n' so at time BUT I'm thinking if I can get that done, I might just be able to get around to doing all the ironing, finish the painting in the hall and get all the stuff listed on ebay, stuff on freecycle and then on Thursday I can concentrate on getting the tree out and sorting out the paperchain making with DD ;) I have my lists......now I wonder whether a promise of a take-out on Sunday would encourage them  Time to get a move on.
