Morning All
I'm a newbie DFW (just entering into a DMP) so am trying to think of ways to decrease my spends. Today so far I have:- turned the heating down
- handwashed breakfast dishes (save loading the dishwasher)
- downloaded a few free apps on my phone for my 5 yr old
- checked my bank
- chased some expenses with work
- this afternoon will look for stuff to sell on ebay
- checked my shopping order that's due tomorrow to be 100% sure I need all the suff.

Morning all:)
Still typical half term weather here
Today's list:
- checked banking
- check for surveys
- done comps
- laundry done and on airer
- heating on low
- elder daughter is doing an Orange Wednesdays deal with a friend at the cinema
- younger daughter and I are at home baking for family visit tomorrow
- dinner from stores/menu
- lunch on homemade bread and soup
Did a week's grocery shopping for £50 yesterday :j This might seem quite a bit to some of you long time MSE'ers, but for me, still a relative newbie, it was amazing. This time last year, I would probably have spent more like £120 on a half term week's groceries

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with this problem!!!
Hello everyone,
A late post from me as I have been sooooo busy at work today, hope everyone is well.
I put my name forward for a temporary promotion at work today...I don't think I'll get it, but it can't hurt to try right? I don't think there's any extra money either, but it would be very valuable work experience for me which might enable me to move up in the world elsewhere.
Today I have/will:-- [STRIKE]Charge phone via PC since it's on anyway[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Food from stores[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Heating off during working day[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Log calories on free app[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Log expenditure on free app[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Check ebay[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Post items that have been paid for [/STRIKE]- 1 cost less then I thought it would...should I refund the buyer £1.50 or keep as extra profit? They got a good deal anyway!
- [STRIKE]Check for surveys[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Enter comps[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Check online banking[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Hang washing up to dry[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Put £2 coin received at lunch into pot[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Read Martin's email[/STRIKE]
- Sort out a few games for my friend's hen do
