The Nokia N8's got an excellent camera. The main reason why i bought it. Unless you get on contract will set you back a bit though.

My wife needs an upgrade. She currently has (please don't laugh) K800i and only uses it for phone/texting. Also, of course she uses it to take pictures - a lot. K800i is just brilliant at taking photos but is now giving her other issues (freezing, battery life, etc - not surprising since it is a very old phone).

So, am looking for a phone with a good camera (with flash). She loves her Sony but perhaps I can persuade her to move to other makers if the price/phone is right. She just uses her phone to natter, text and take loads of pictures (almost uses it as a camera). She doesn't need any other fancy stuff like data download, android, etc.

So, can please please please recommended a decent phone with good camera (I presume a Sony phone will have a good camera). I suppose about £100 or so. I don't know much about these things but relying on you to recommend a good camera phone.

    Thanks in advance.

Robbie, as others have pointed out, you will be hard pushed to get a new current phone that matches the spec at <£100 (remember the K800i was a top phone in it's era) , I have my K850i and K750 still noth going strong, I have a Satio now as my everyday phone but you would have to near double your budget to get a previously owned model, another good thing about the Satio is that one of the keyboard styles is the alpha/numeric which I am lead to beleive does not feature on all touchscreen handsets, and as your Mrs is aware, excellent for texting especially predictive texting.
If the hardware of the handset is still good, perhaps backing the phone up and then restoring the bits you require, may bring back the speed of the handset , I suspect it has slowed down due to lots of temporary files stored somewhere on the handset, my K850i had similar symptoms, but at the time I had 1000s of texts on the handset :o

I did a forum search and found this post. I have been given a K800i to replace my very old Nokia 3120!
My question is, does the K800i have Blue tooth? I've also been given a in car hands free Blue tooth kit. If the K800i has Blue tooth, can someone please tell this very non techie, how to pair the two up?

    Thanks.
