On the champers, did anyone have any grief over the "NV" bit of the SEL where CS said it wasn't the same thing, and if so, what did you say??
Does the bottle not have a barcode ?
Does the SEL not have a barcode ?

Are they they the same ?

not posted on here before, just wondered if r&r works if things are charged lower than the tag? I am not brave enough to try it generally, but thought I would mention the jacket we bought today, f&f fred cotton rich jacket in chocolate brown with fine stripes, tagged at £40, went through at £26.
  • Good point!

Sex and the City - Season 3... the blue one.

All had stickes so was a pretty easy r&r :-)

Hi everyone just joined after lurking for a while!
My local store is being done up and have no scanners to check.
Can you scan on the self scan tills without buying?
    Thanks in advance

Please, newbies, you do not need to scan everything, or even anything. More to the point, you will get unnecessary attention from the cameras or staff if seen scanning then buying, then R&Ring in the same shop.

I never scan anything, but R&R lots! If it goes wrong I change my mind at the till, much less fuss than returning stuff later. You need to keep away from CS until you need them!

Just make a mental note of what's been recently posted here (or on the misprices thread), or make a shopping list (not a printout) and off you go.

Some easy ones for newbies, that are today still working for R&R, are:

Open Season does not trigger the '2 for £8' discount on annuals

Hula Hoops Ridges, the 2 for £2 offer doesn't work

Other than that, you do not need to scan the DVDs that have been stated as scanning at £17xx (if they are stickered or SEL is at £15xx). You do not need to scan weighed meat/fish if the price per kilo is lower on the SEL than the pack (if you are up to explaining this misprice at CS).

Just be careful, if you HAVE to scan use one local store for that, then go and buy your misprice finds elsewhere (and post them for us too!).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    No

its where we get to visit as many tescos as we can, while they blatantly try to rip us off

Its "open season" to visit these stores and take advantage of their generous pricing policies :rotfl:
    £2051.50 since Oct 25 2006 ;) Make mine a Golden £143.46 :D

    I love Leadhead :D:D
