Yes it is game of the week, but as I understand it, he got the Tony Hawks game due to a pricing error and SWAPPED it for Superman.

    and ginjim-do you never sleep?

I understand whay you're saying, however, it is also unfair when people don't take the time to at least try and find out some of the information themselves !, the information is clearly available and I like many others are more than willing to clarify and help where possible, but there are just as many who get sick and tired of answering obvious questions from people who cannot be bothered to look for the something that is in front of their nose. The amount of posts saying things like "are there any X-boxes at the Wolverhampton branch ?"

So get off your soap box and defend someone that actually needs your help, sorry mods !

Well sorry I missed your comments yesterday wfc1, I had more important things to do, like shopping!!!;)

If you had bothered to read the post which you replied to, you would have seen they had been following the thread and had gone to see for themselves if they could get a r&r. I do think that picking meat as your first r&r is a bit of a toughy, as there is generally a lot of explaining to do with the idiot CS's. Stickered items generally get very little questions from CS (though someone will come back shortly and tell me they have had problems).

You may well get tired of answering the same old questions, I get tired of reading the same old topics aswell. Thankfully it does not take long to become experienced, its a bit like selling door to door, you are nervous to start but after 3 or 4 you feel like an expert. It does not however do anyones confidence good to have their questions belittled by others, and your approach certainly did not put you in a good light.

You chastised a number of people for chatting on the misprice thread the night before last, and low and behold last night there you were chatting on the misprice thread. :p
None of us are perfect wlfc1, and some of us are grumpy old sods.;) In future maybe showing a little commeradery against tescos would be more helpful.

As for all those that thanked wlfc1, shame on you most of you are experienced r&rers,:naughty: help those that aren't. As for those that thanked both clearly you are confused :D
    I had a plan..........its here somewhere.

The misprice thread seems to have been tidied up overnight.

Anyone know what happened with the new poster and his Acer Laptop, did he go back & was it an R&R ?
  • Well Plushchris, I am feeling a little jealous this morning, while you I am sure are feeling knackered.:D
Way to go yeaterday sunshine, I had a similar one a couple of weeks ago and it really does the spirit good venturing into new stores where no one knows you.
These days I find myself checking out where the local stores are whenever I know I am going to be out of town. New territory, new challenge, bigger opportunity. Oh I do love this game.

Yeah yesterday was good for me, I was starting to feel a bit like the novelty had worn off, especially going to the same old stores all the time, I'm sure a bit of paranoia was creeping in too so the new stores were handy for restoring the faith!

I meant what I said about the legwork, there was no way I would have got that little lot yesterday by just visiting the "local" stores (ie within 20 - 30 miles)

Plan the day out, use the store locator book (just not for directions!) and have fun!

I'm just about to tot up the grand total of yesterdays haul so stand by.....
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)
  • Hi, if someone identifies a misprice on here say on a dvd, is this nationwide or store specific? The reason I ask is that I cant scan in my store therefore if the sticker matches with what someone has mentioned do you think it woudl scan at the same price?

Do T's have a national computer for prices?I take it they do & I would be safe buying if it had been identified on here.

    Thanks Lisa

    Well, I make it £402.24

I actually spent (on food & beverages while out) £16.43

Plus about £15 -£20 worth of fuel in the car

So I guess that £402 worth of stuff actually COST me around £35ish (could have been lower had I made a packed lunch!)

if you see for example a sel of 37.xx on tony havks pro8 it will most definately scan for 39.xx the national price
u must look for the sels that are mentioned here
all the misprices are store specific
meaning that some are very much on the ball showing the right labels where as other leave old sels on
but there is a national price so 99.9% of same products will scan at the same price of all the other stores in england
