well for me and my fiance we have had a 2 day tesco shopping spree lmao yesterday we got 2 x Xbox 360 games ( tony hawke) and seasons 1,2 and 3 futurama we was chuffed saved about 140.00 !!! so much so we went back to tesco again today and did exactly the same thats over £200.00 worth of r n r's in 2 days !!!!!!!

very impressed !!!!! ;-)

Quick post from me before bed, its been a long day! (worthwhile though! )


8 cases of Holsten Export (NOT going through at 2 for £16 as it ended yesterday)

2 six packs of Budweiser

3 copies of Tony Hawks for Xbox (Swapped one for Superman Returns in Sainsburys)

1 each of the 4 disc DVD sets (kung fu hustle, goonies, goodfellas, Jim Carrey selection)

Simpsons series 5 boxset

4 Packs tescos Washing tablets

3 cases of Coke (£6.75 SEL)

and a Technika Micro Stereo system (OOD SEL £59.97 scans £69.97)









Could have got two packs of organic chicken breasts too but didnt want to be greedy

Whilst in a store today a customer was having a 'discussion' with a manager.
I only caught the end of it which was the customer geting an R&R.

The item was a Motorola L6 on Virgin and they'd been charged £59.99 instead of £39.99.

Don't know any other details for sure.
A quick look at the phone display showed it might have been that this phone was 59.99 with 20 off if you buy £20 airtime. Perhaps the discount doesn't trigger.

I'm not sure about being able to return the airtime if deal goes through properly & you then decide you don't want the phone so this might be a bit tricky.

Hang did you do all of this in one shop or spread it out over alot and did you mix it in with your normal shop?

That was spread over 6 shops ( I think, cant really remember, bloody knackered as went straight out after night shift at half eight this morning) I set out with a mission to spend as little as possible today, think I only actually spent about £15 (spread out over the stores, drinks, sweets etc)

Havent added it up but I'd guess at around £350 mark? Will do the maths tomorrow as I'm fried now!
