Well...just got back from a very good shopping trip. They had the xbox priced correctly, sadly (will try town again tomorrow) but got 4 DVD's & nearly £85 r&r:

Simpsons-season 2
Futurama- Season 1&4
Kung-Fu Hustle- 3 DVD set

Not bad for a first-timer eh? My heart was pumping quite a lot though. Wish I got all the simpsons tho

ok i got a clued up cashire today spotted that the huge tins of roses didnt go threw at 15 even tho that offer as ended i told her ile get the 2 p[ound back at cc an it was ok she sed no have ur money as she hadent properly tilled it in an ile take u to cc where they will give it u at 15 she must av known there was a 2 for 15 display still in store ..lol..any way got a dummy call from a dummy mum who sed i dont want them any more an then i left

was gutted but hey i got 2 xbox'x...lol....but i want to take one back to a diff store for refund as i only need one but am a bit dubious yes im a newie an i av read the threads as any one ever ad a prob doin this an shud it be a diff store

tried the champers the one thats £5 off to £9.99 regretfully went through at that price, also whisky balie nichol charlie??? ols sel at 10.61 went through at this price but i did have a somerfield £5 voucher that came off it.

Did they mark your receipt when you got your R&R on the xboxs ?

If they didn't you should have no problem returning to a different store for a refund.

If the marked it then it might be more troublesome. Technically you should still be able to return it but I suspect you may have to argue your case.

Definitely the scanning was noticed!

Don't scan things if they have just been posted on here. Especially something like a DVD where it's stickered lower, you've got to jump the hurdle of getting it past the cashier without them noticing anyway, so just pop it in your trolley and carry on shopping as normal.

Then at the till you can easily say 'oh I didn't realise it was that much!' and ask them to cancel it off, with no-one else noticing (except maybe a cashiers 'runner'/supervisor who may have to void it, but they are quick and disinterested in the reason why IMHO).

I scan NOTHING and I have had 2 consoles, umpteen games, tons of books, lots of expensive meat, a DVD player, Micro System, and.......no ban yet...!
