You should have posted this on the discussion or the ethics debate thread, but since you've posted here I'll reply here and ask the mods to move both our posts.
Getting a refund after your original R+R is known as a Golden R+R and is widely practised by many of us. It's a perfectly acceptable and legal thing to do. It makes absolutely no difference to Tesco as they will just sell the item to someone else for the amount they refunded to you.
It's complete and utter nonsense to say it's tantamount to stealing. Both parties were happy to take part in the original R+R and the subsequent Golden R+R; hence no theft has taken place.
I disagree with your statement that a true MSEer should not be promoting this. Why not? This site is all about money saving, and Golden R+Rs are a perfectly legitimate way of obtaining free money.0 -

Plus I got a premium yesterday and was really just looking for Tony Hawks, which they didn't have..0 -
Well I cocked mine up, well and truly, should have sat tight with my xbox but I returned it - I should be banned from the thread.0

Spot on mate...but I dont think I would have been so diplomatic!
Not a mispriced xbox in sight today, but managed another £90+ worth of freebies.
Although not yet a Golden, took another couple of (previously RandRed) phones back today(without the bill) and was offered an exchange.....Wonderful.....Got 3 expensive Christmas presents in one go..one being a DVD recorder, in exchange, then on the way home used a few coupons to get a load of disks for it(free of course).
Another excellent dayCouponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

I heard they had a fire at that store the other week, not sure if it's had to close for repairs though. It's the store which adjoins the Big Brother house isn't it?0 -

Yes mate tried yesterday and no joy but just wait until that upstairs is open and I reckon it could be a real earner.;)0 -

I was in too early for the electrical counter to be open so I would have had to get CS to get it and then it's harder to argue the didnt realise I was being overcharged until later.
Plus I got a premium yesterday and was really just looking for Tony Hawks, which they didn't have..
still think its worth me trying? and is it ok to pay by credit card?0
