Pre-paid card that does / does not work with ryanair to get free booking

You should nto use prepaid cards for deposits. They put a block on the card for the amount of the deposit, and it can take up to a month to release the block, even if you later pay by another card. Same thing with hotels. Use a CC for the security deposit, then pay by prepaid card at the end.

Oh thats a pity as this card is almost up to it's limit and we can't afford to pay loads off it at the moment.
So say we had a credit limit of £1,000 and we had £60 left to use, they take the £60 fuel charge which we expect, then what?
Can they tell if you have any available credit left on the card just in case we had an accident etc?
We can't open another card as we can't get anymore credit so I thought a prepaid card would be ok.

How about a visa debit card, I have one of those, can they use that as security?
