Incredibly slow internet connection on PC but netbook fine!

Got another joke speed this morning - 0.30 Mb/s and there is nobody else in this house with a computer on using the internet. Any ideas why this might be happeneing?

COMBOFIX says that it is not the latest version and needs to update but then it gets stuck when it says 'connecting to combofix servers' at the moment it has been stuck on 8.6% for about 5 minutes and a similar thing happened last night when I told it not to update.

Do my latest HIJACK results confirm that I have I got rid of alot of the crap that was on my PC?

Use a wired connection to download combofix as quite apart from all the crap your machine is carrying it's obvious that the wifi is poor too.

What I mean is, do people need a password to use your wireless router? (WPA security)
or is it open for anyone to use?

Yes there is a password to protect gaining access to the network.
