Incredibly slow internet connection on PC but netbook fine!

I wonder whether somebody can help me with this problem.
I have wireless connections on both my netbook, PC and Iphone in my room to my dads talktalk router downstairs.
I have never had a major problem before but in the last week the connection to my PC has been incredibly slow. When I hover over the wireless network connection it says that the signal strength is very low and on my netbook it is very good but to be fair this has always been the case.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks

I just ran a speed test on both my PC and my netbook and it returned the following:
PC
Download 0.82 Mb/s
Upload 0.29 Mb/s
Ping 94
Netbook
Download 1.83 Mb/s
Upload 0.2 Mb/s
Ping 560 -
If the PCs infected it could be using bandwidth
Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM QUICK SCAN then click SCAN
Remove everything thats found (needs to be ticked)
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds
If anything was found then do the exact same but run a FULL scan
reboot
Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
If you get a message that you cant write to the hosts file then Press the SHIFT key, and whilst holding it RIGHT CLICK and select RUN AS (admin)
Might also be worth rebooting the router. Possibly try a different wireless 'channel' too:idea:0 -
Okay I have run the quick scan and it returned the following (I will now run the full scan as you advise) which i have successfully deleted:

OP, what AV software are you using on each machine? No free lunch, and no free laptop
0 -
run a full scan on both machines, then take the pc downstairs to test it wireless and wired.
a very low signal strength may impact on the speed, moving the router, aerial or pc wireless adapter slightly may help
you may wish to scan with this also

Thanks for all your help.0 -
Looks like your AV is not working very well as your pc is riddled with viruses. I would try and copy as many files as possible that you wish to keep and do a complete format and reinstall.Estate Agent, Web Designer & All Round Geek!0
