I don't see why the op does not come to an accommodation with the shop. Either that or P&D, they would at least make some money out of the OP and her likes.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

a pub local to me and close to shops charges £250 p.a per vehicle for 24/7 parking to a local estate agent and bakery. no reserved parking spaces but the park is never busy.
£5 p.week to park 24/7; to me this is a bargain. the OP might at least consider making a proposition to the retailer, instead of clogging up a space 5 days a week/pleading poverty.0
