what would you do if i parked on your driveway because i couldnt find anywhere else?

I would leave it to the mercy of the local hoodies ,they won't touch my car or my guests but if they were aware that it was uninvited ..who knows what they might do ?
As with all private land you park "at your own risk" :rotfl:

Not really relevant to this though.

A car park is not the same as a driveway
  • I think you are all being a bit harsh on the OP yes I know she should not have parked there but come on we all do it lets be honest here and there is also the bigger issue like the exaggerated exorbitant car parking fees that a lot of councils charge.

Maybe if fuel was cheaper and inline with the rest of europe and damm insurance was not so high we could afford to park legally

Yes we all try to cut our budget some where and this is one way of doing it whether it is right or wrong

No we don't all do it, and abusing a car park is not the way to solve a long running issue.

As has been said the site could put up proper signs and end up clamping the vehicle.

it is if the company who own it only allow their customers to use it, its not there for all and sundry to use, just like someones driveway isnt.

No it still isnt the same.

The company are doing nothing to stop people using the car park. They may wish to.

Yes but people do not generally park on other people's driveways - although the PPC trolls on here would have you believe it's a regular occurrence.

But basically the OP should find somewhere else to park as it's obviously causing an issue for the retailer. At least they haven't brought in a PPC parasite and have just gone for the polite notice approach which is good and has made the OP think twice without being fleeced for a fake fine.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I'm sure a lot of people have parked where they shouldn't have on the odd occasion, that isn't the point. The OP is parking there as a daily routine after being asked not to.
