So annoyed, i ordered £41 of stuff after the 3 for 1 discount, on the first day of this deal, and today got a paypal refund for £14. I logged on to Lloyds site to check, there are now only 5 items left in my order, so I've been charged for 3 of them and only 2 free, plus I've been charged postage, which was free before as my order was over £40! And it's been despatched so I can't cancel.

If you ring CS they will probably refund your postage as your original order was over £40. Definitely worth a try. The harassed CS team are still managing to be nice and friendly - as I found out this morning when I rang (yet again) to query non-delivery. :)

So CS have finally decided my CK euphoria has evaporated and I need to be refunded,

I spent over 120 pound in that order there are only 5 items around the £24 price, either I forgot to add. A 3rd or something cheaper was added to discount.

I asked how they are sorting returns if bought items that weren't all exactly the same price can you return them in a different set of three - totally confused the poor girl with that one.

Anyone find it totally annoying that neither your online order page or despatch note conain break down of what discount was applied where? I would actually lik to see this in lack and White as am considering returning quite a few items an if not bought or returned in groups of 3 could potentially lose out or even make a profit!!

Surely if you returned an 'expensive' item then you would have to return the accompanying 2 free items ( I imagine price being around a similar price ) as the provision of getting the 2 items free was purchasing the ' expensive' item in the first place ?

If it is a free item you wish to return then as it is free , you did not actually pay for it so no refund should be given. This is the usual Terms and conditions that are applied when stores run bogof and 342 type offers so I imagine Lloyds will be no different. ie in order for a refund you would have to return the free items along with the purchased item.

I have been impressed with the order I received and hopefully will be as impressed by my second order which has just been dispatched, the 2nd order did take longer than I imagined however it is fully understandable due to the level oforders they must have had due to the great offer. The bargains I will be getting will far outweigh the week or so I have had to wait.
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

for my OOS items they refunded, they took the cost of the product I purchased and refunded a third of it for the item that was OOS. They were alll around the same price though. That seems to be the case earlier in the thread too.

hi my point was as i didn't but 3 of everything some of my items had a wide price difference does it make a difference in which combination you return things?

it doesn't say on the reciept in which groups of 3 the discount was applied, you just get an invoice with the overall deduction at the end

To guarantee refund, probably best to return sets of three of same or very similar price because all your order would be worked out differently and you could lose out big time!

Say you returned one perfume at £19.99 (from three ordered) you'd lose out because you could be charged £39.98 (two x £19.99) or thereabouts if you didn't have anything of same or similar value to make up set of three. It all depends on how many and prices for rest of your order. You'd need to make sure the number of items you keep is divisible by three or you'll pay for two full price. Am I making sense? I think not, but I know what I mean... hard to explain!:smiley: That's my take on it, but I'm only guessing.

I was told if LP cannot supply three of 341 offer due to OOS, then you would only pay one third for something - but that's due to their lack of stock and would not surely apply to returns??

I have one of the John Frieda brunette sets going spare if anyone is interested. Just realised 1 of the people I was going to give it to are ginger so will be no good.

If anyone wants it and doesnt mind paying postage they are more that welcome. First person to PM me can have it.

Ordered on the 25th and money taken via paypal. Now received an email to say item out of stock. Strange its taken them so long to realise this plus use the interest on my money during this time!
