    Er.....only if the following criteria apply

    1. They try to take it on the wrong day more than once every 15 months [70/4.8] AND

    2. They subsequently refuse to cover your bank charges for their error

    BTW I thought the dd was automated so not sure how they can screw up the day they take it??

    well my d/d with company a were due to go out on the 6 th of the month as thats the day i get paid they would try to take it on the 5th or the 4th


    and they wouldn't pay the charges

    Companies are not allowed to do this......Tell them to stop doing it.

    Claim a refund for everything [from your bank] under the Direct Debit Guarantee scheme [google it for more info].
