I look on it not as a charge for making a payment but as a discount for paying the way the company want me to. As the businesses I have DD's with agree to comply with the DD guarantee I chose to save. Its a case of you pays your money and you takes your choice.
If I didn't like their way of doing business I would shop elsewhere.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0 -
I dont think you pay more, its just that if you pay by dd you will get a discount.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

Please be nice to all MoneySavers. That’s the forum motto. Remember the prime aim is to help provide info and resources. If you don’t like someone, their situation, their question or feel they’re intruding on ‘your board’ then please bite the bullet and think of the bigger issue... a Guardian article recently “doffed its cap” to this forum as being the one place where consumers can collect together and fight back, our job is to help keep it that way.
Pretty sure thats not in the forum rules at all. It is however in the etiquette section.
While i agree that sometimes if you have nothing constructive to say its best not saying anything.......sometimes it is required. Then again sometimes no matter how you respond to someone, if its not what they want to hear they will still act offended by it.
I have been on the receiving end of it once or twice and the reasons were that they had misunderstood the intentions behind my post or that they had attached false intentions to my post. Then they proceeded to tell me that i am wrong about my own life, own opinions/cicrumstances etc and that they know better than me how my post was intended!

I am sure that in my absence I missed some post about which course to attend at college, but I could have been more curt. I note that since my invigorating remarks, the grammar police have inspected this part of the parish!0

i pay extra and i dont care 4.80 a month is better than the 70.00 you get charged for them trying to take their d/ds out on the wrong dayReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0
