Ill reply in your style of writing.

If you online you dont have to pay this charges extra for paper statement that you could pay fees that you dont have to if you do online, to me it seems fair that the company has set up charges like this for customers to pay bills in several different ways :)
  • Freddie shall now interrupt for the disengerenous.

Why get so excited? Look at it like this, you're offered an effective £4.80 discount for paying by DD because they know you're not going to be late paying/forgetting a bill and having to chase you.

It is good practice to start a sentence with a capital letter.

3 did this to me when i cancelled a D/D coz it was gonna bounce. best thing si to set up a D/D if the contract demands it (mobile contracts) then if you can pay in advance.

Im no longer a fan of d/d's as I 'forget them' or i dont get paid ahead of time and then end up with loads of bounced charges.

no d/d means u stay in control.

ma mum doesnt do d/ds anymore (i think her bank say no after acc issues a while back) but she seems fine paying for the 'privilege' (up to £5 extra a MONTH per company!!!!!!!!)... *pffffffft*
