Hob cleaned and bits washed up. Cupboard doors and large appliances wiped down. Need to get on with cake and supper and hopefully get the kitchen cleaning finished at the same time.
  • Hi Sock, hopi candles are a paper like cylinder bout 6 " long, , the end goes in to your ear and the other end is lit ( you are lying on your side at this point) some one is holding the hopi candle. The flame burns down and,I think it works like a chimney.it does not hurt and all i was aware of was a slight clicking noise in my ear ( apparently it was the sound of the paper burning) at the end when it has burnt to a low level it is removed and all the wax that is in your ear is on the paper, to tell the truth, i was shocked how much.hearing was instantly sharper. Then I had it on my other ear.finished off with a facial to help clear my sinuises, and i must admit, i loved it. She did mention that it can be used to clear sinsuses and that migraine sufferers can benefit.Hope that helps x

One thing listed on ebay. I'm hoping it will sell and push me on to list more. Is the free listing on tomorrow as well?

Sister and BIL up and hubby has been snoozing since dinner. I hope he has himself ready for tomorrow because he didn't mention anything that needed washed.

Right i'm away to chill with a movie...

I use Hopi candles now and again, you can buy them on-line.

It doesn't hurt, just a 'pop' noise, very good.

My friend uses them on her disabled son,(10), as he is blind, but has no speech. Ideal way to clean his ears safely.

Thanks Dippy. Thinking of taking wee daughter as well, as she gets ear infections (her ears don't "clean out" properly and fill with dead skin which leads to infection.. sorry if TMI) It does seem very gentle from what you have all said.

Because he is blind, his hearing is very sensitive, and they dont bother him at all.

It's harder getting him to sit still long enough.:)
