    Congrats Jo :j:j:j

I'm a Director, but as I work for an American company, it doesn't mean quite the same thing as in a UK company... next step is a Vice President, of which there are many, many types...

Nope... won't change the job... I've been promoted because I'm already doing the job at the level above the one I'm on (significantly above). I'll still be working with ex - we're doing a series of briefings together this summer, for which we have 12 dates booked already. Hopefully we'll manage it OK.

Need to do some maths tonight... firstly to split my bonus between ISA and mortgage, and then understand what my monthly income is going to be once the new salary kicks in (actually, I don't know when that's going to be...). Still, at least its nice maths :)

    Right back at ya!!!! :T:T:T:T:beer::beer::beer:

    Way to go Greenbee!!!!!

Well done lovely - you deserve it!! Have fun with your maths :D

My boss just called... I've been promoted :D
    :beer:Congratulations! Excellent news.
Ooh, looks like Congratulations are in order for xx_Jo_xx also.
Well, no more of the list got done.:( But we did go into town (don't worry, I got dressed first:eek:) as Mr LW needed to talk to the bank about some new plastic, as his card is badly cracked and in danger of disintegrating. Called in Holland & Barrett for some jelly crystals while we were there, as I can't get those in the supermarkets.

Went on to Morrie-bums and did a grocery shop, stocked the freezer up with meat-free stuff. I can get Mr LW to go to the Morries in Letchworth in his lunch break, but there's nowhere for him to store frozens at work, so I have to go myself for those.

Cream crackered beyond all belief now.:(

Mr LW is going to do some Wii-ing, and he's just placed the mini-walker machine in front of me and given me a meaningful look.:( So I guess it's exercise for me too, then.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Looks good. It's tempting me to change back to one of those once my pull-along Miele gives up the ghost. I'm already fed up with bags.

Mrs Chaos did you find out who owns Small Cat? Given a similar situation, I'd be inclined to turn to the Cats Protection League for help.

Not yet, but it's not been back since breakfast and the houses where it's supposed to live where quiet when we walked past at dinner time. I'll walk up tonight if it's back.

I don't know if it's chipped, but couldn't get it to come close, anyway. DS1 had more luck, but he's out.

Congratulations, greenbee and jo. That's great news for you both.

DS2 and I went to factory foods today and I now have a freezer filled with yummy things. Couldn't have done that if it hadn't defrosted on Sunday. Silver linings, and all that...

It's lovely to hear that you're having such a great time 'up North', AnW's. And you seem to be enjoying yourself too, toots. :D

Now could someone please fling a mule or two, because I'm not making good use of my time at all.

    Will be back later. x

Greenbee - Fantastic news. You so deserve it. Very very well done:j:j:j

xx Jo xx - More good news! The thread is lovely reading today. Be happy together :j:j:j

Sexy, Lady L - I was out before Sexy's post. Glad you had a nice time together.

Miss A - Wow you have been busy! Say hello to Mum and Master W and you know who from me.

All five big and little offspring have been trimmed and tidied. They all look lovely now:). To be fair DD1 always looks lovely.:)

Saw my mum and she is much happier now but is still very upset with my sister. It's my nephew's birthday on Thursday and it is going to be as much as a non event as her 40th was.

Very late reporting of my HHC from 8.50 this morning:o

DD2's ironed clothes put away and her wardrobe tidied
DS3's ironed clothes put away and his wardrobe tidied
    Breakfast things put in DW
Load put on WM and load taken out of TD and sorted
    kitchen S/S

DH is away tonight in Barnsley. The C*** up with the bank has left him with 60p in his pocket until he gets home tomorrow night. I had to go to the account holding bank today (25 miles away) and explain what the FWits at the call centre had done. I have been allowed to draw out £250 and I need £170 for tickets to the Arsenal v Orient replay. £40 went on haircuts and I will share the remaining £40 with DH until we get new cards through. I will be writing to the branch to inform them of my inconvenience and annoyance.

Hope everyone has a nice evening.

MrsChaos consider mule thrown. I have a few spare. Although I'll probably be getting them thrown back at me next week when I get home. DH is away and I always find it difficult to get in gear when it's only me.

Exercise routine getting a great kick off this week. Must have walked about 7k today. Boy is that garden at Versailles big. Very very cold but clear blue skies. Couldn't have been better.

Staying in tomorrow morning to de-clutter some client work while rest of family go clothes shoppping. Probably a good idea as letting me loose in Paris with a credit card could be dangerous:money:
