I'm hoping bid rumours will fade away and the share price will drop back to a level where I'm comfortable with the risk:rearward ratio.
Interesting one to watch!
I understand what you are saying I was in the same boat as you, the problem with this share is things move so quickly, if takeover rumours are confirmed or Oil and Gas law is agreed in Iraq this could rocket, if you're not in you'll not win.
I'm just so glad I jumped in again on Monday, that investment alone has shown in four days a paper profit of over 25%.In memory of Chris Hyde #8670 -
I was thinking of buying into this today, but, i'm a bit of a newb.
Never bought shares before.
I have opened a share trading account with ii and have funded it accordingly.
Should i buy with a limit order or wait until the market opens? Being new to this i'm not entirely sure how quickly the prices fluctuate?
Appreciate any help, don't worry it's not my lifes savings and would be comfortable (but obv not happy!) if i lost said investment.0 -
Anybody still invested in Gulf Keystone?0

I'm sill in, even though my current trade is showing a 35% loss I'm still about 30% up on my GKP trades overall. I'm looking to add some more shares soon.0

I have a few (about 25000) and have been dabbling for a while now, and adding to my holdings. I am down overall but am hopeful that there will be an upturn once the court case has finished.
It is certainly a share which provides a roller coaster experience!0 -
I have this and Genl as well which was doing better but not recently.
I agree the court case seems to have caused a fair bit of worry, is there much credit does anyone think. I cant tell a legal point but it seems tenuous but true?
I would like 160p0 -

I hope it doesn't reach 160! But it probably will, there must be lots of positive news to come. The court case is bizarre, from reading snippets it is all a little shady, but there does not seem to be a strong case to answer, Excaliber seem to have a weak case.0 -
I'm still in, I hold about 4500 shares at £1.010
