    Oxy managed to remove vaseline from cotton towels so surely it would work?

    **mental note to self** Never ask DH to do a quick 2 minute job to help you out as this always results in a 30 min clearing up job!!

    Soda crystals are a de-greaser ... soak the items in a solution of soda crystals overnight then wash as normal :):)

    Sudocreme should be used thinly and sparingly ... a little goes a loooooooog way :laugh: :o

    It may well do :confused: Personally, I don't buy it because ounce for ounce, soda crystals are cheaper and just as versatile :D

    washing up liquid got out the whole pot of sudocreme my 3 yo trod into the carpet after DH left it where it could be reached ;)

    I used to mop up sudocrem with baby wipes, worked a treat on their bums and the carpet!!!!!

    Stardrops. Good squirt in very hot water, with a handful of washing soda crystals. You can prime stains with neat stardrops first.

    oh my god my youngest got hold of a tub of sudo cream god knows how we didnt see her do it but it went everywhere,walls tv/control/curtains bedding,took absolutely ages to get out

    Tut tut why oh why don't the older generation learn to tell the sudocrem story when the children are at their knees? I bet they haven't told you about the spreading the margarine on the stairs thing either.
