My OH uses Sudocrem on his face at night to help his skin condition... I have warned him numerous times to keep it away from my beautiful new expensive chocolate-coloured duvet cover but whilst I was away last week it appears that he "forgot" and I now have Sudocrem stains all along the top edge of my duvet cover...
Any hints as to how to get it off?? A run in the washing machine did no good when he ruined my last set of sheets!!
Thanks in advance...

I'd try washing up liquid since it is basically a grease-based stain.0

Use it neat or dilute it?
Sorry if that's a dumb question but I really don't want to mess these sheets up!!!0 -
Baby wipes are good for sudocrem!!!!!0

I'd try diluted washing up liquid to start with. Just splash on and rub gently, then put it through your usual wash cycle.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

Trouble with sudocrem is its designed to withstand water, so its really hard to get out. My DD has spread it over every surface known to man in her time. Personally I would scrape off as much as you can, then try neat detergent, scrubbed with a nail brush and rinsed off under the tap, repeat until you think you've got it all off, then run through a long cycle in machine to be sure. Hope it works0

Off to try with some washing up liquid now... although *thinks* would diluted Stardrops have the same effect?0

i would use swarfega hand cleanser, if yuo have a friendly local garage they may let u have a bit, if not it sint too expensive and will shift nearly all oily stains, rub in, leave for 3o mins then machine washMember 1145 Sealed Pot Challenge No4

Have you tried Oxy powder? Available from all pound shops, Semi-Chem and Wilkonsons.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

I don't think the oxypowder will work IMO as the sudocrem is very greasy. The good nesw is that I have had this problem and yuo can get it out! YAY!Pre-treat with bar soap or washing up liquid and wash at the highest temp the fabric will stand. For cotton towels I would use 95 c, repeat if needed. HTHLife's a beach!
