How much of your stuff have your sold to clear debt?

I've decided I'm going to sell some of my stuff to try and make a dent into my debt. I've tried this before by selling the odd thing, but I was thinking this time to be a bit more radical and sell a lot more - CDs etc...
I wish I had a cupboard full of designer handbags to sell...at least something to show for £3k of debt...and then something to sell!

I have sold stuff on ebay & amazon but not stuff that i still want. I dont think its worth it tbh, you;d be better of buying stuff cheap at car boot sale & selling on ebay ( which i also do sometimes)
Good luck.....another happy bug.........sorry,blogger embracing the simple life0 -
If you don't use something, sell it - a lot of the stuff I sold I can't even remember what it was and its great to have more room. I wouldn't seel anything with sentimental value though!
With some Cds I only listened to one track I put it on my pc and sold the disc - now i wait for the free ones in the paper or someone else to buy it!0 -
I've sold lots of books, but the funniest thing is that it's always the most unexpected items that sell well at boot sales etc. No-one bought my Miss Sixty jeans, but there was almost a fight to buy the old toilet seat......Overpay!0

Weve sold loads of stuff
Part of OHs record collection
furniture
clothing
unwanted gifts
absolutely loads of books
CDs & DVDS
ornaments & vases
kitchen bits
Weve done car boot ,ebay and green metropolis. OH is looking into more specialist ways of selling more of his vinyl.
I find it very carthatic, and really enjoy it. I reckon since I started properly selling & banking the money Ive made about 800 quid. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Lynz is right I found/find it very therapeutic to sell the 'stuff' I have accumulated I love ebaying and I have done a car boot which was brilliant although it is weird what sells. Be very strong and pay any earnings against debt! and it is very satisfying.;)Every Penny's a prisoner :T0

I've sold my stereo, my New Rock Boots that I loved (and I got more than I paid for them in the sale), my craft books (which all sold for the same amount I paid for them), my craft stuff, jewelery which doesn't seem to go too well, bags, shoes, posh dresses that don't fit. Nothing really designer.
The one that surprised me most was my old doll from 1980 which was a pippa doll with hardly any hair left and sold for £38!!!
Newlywed at the point I joined the forum... now newly separated0
