    Hello!

Had a good weekend not spending much.

Signed up to do some surveys - One poll at £3.65 and nothing but competitions on VO but you've got to be in it to win it eh!?

Applied for MySurvey via cash back last night too.

Won £51 on bingo over the weekend so I'm very pleased with that and have been topping up the loose change pot and virtual loose change account.

Have been a lot more frugal with the food budget.

Have realised I need to be more positive about life/work/money etc rather than resenting my relatively well paid job because it interferes with my social life!!?

  • Got my road tax renewal through the post.
Last year it was bad enough at £210, but this year it has gone up to £245
Thank goodness for my "annual bills divided by 12" account I set up.
Guess it needs a little tweeking now !

    Today I:
    • Took in some soup from the freezer for lunch at work. I really need to run the freezer down as it desperately needs defrosting
    • 40p on Onepoll
    • Did a couple of Toluna surveys - hooray, I'm starting to qualify for more :D
    • On the minus side, I took DH's car to work this morning and I got in it to find the blooming petrol light on. So that made me late for work as I had to fill it up with petrol - £50 - ouch!

Nothing that exciting today. The kids wanted to be outside so i had to watch them while pottering. I can see how this will work out as the weather keeps improving. I am also having a CBA evening tonight.
    • Onepoll - 55p
    • toluna - 4 surveys validated, so now at nearly 40k points, no surveys today
    • mysurvey - 50 points
    • played a bit of free bingo but no wins.
    • finished off knitted baby present. Now need to post.

    Today's small things:
    1. Toluna added on a whopping 50k points overnight of owed open surveys, so I had enough to order another £15 Debenhams voucher
    2. onepoll was good today = 55p
    3. in Mr T's bought a 1/2 price Indian takeaway bag in the 'reduced' bit for £3.24 - this has 2 main meals, large pilar rice, bombay potatoes and a naan bread - stuck them all in the freezer for now
    4. used my 2 printed 'free box of go-cat biscuits' vouchers today
    5. won another Greggs BOGOF bacon/sausage roll
    6. my laptop has developed a fault (not burning discs, not recognising anything in the CD drive) and a has a second fault where the fan is very noisy and the laptop is getting very hot :( BUT...oh happy days, knew we took out extra insurance cover on it and have discovered we are just within the 3 years validity :D so we are sending it off to be repaired for 'free' thank god for the insurance :p (just glad I can use DHs work laptop while mine is away, otherwise I would have serious MSE withdrawal symptoms!!)
    :)
