  • 1, Stopped using the woodburner today, heating is still on for a couple of hours am and pm but that will go off soon too!
2, used vouchers I'd accumulated for birthday presents (x2) so only spent £8 in total.
3, made a loaf in breadmaker at fraction of cost of shop brought and 10 x the taste.
4, went to recycling and renewables show today and got the following free items, a hanging basket kit with seeds, a pasta measurer, a food storage clip, a jute bag, a calendar, a pen , kids worksheets and 3 plants. We did nearly everything they did there already too :-)
  • Bumped as I'd like some inspiration. Come on guys let me know the little things you see doing!

  • Today I have baked some buns from store cupboard supplies, washed some towels using soap nuts and line dried it and sold some eggs (helps to pay for chicken food). Oh it's also been a NSD :)

I've turned the heating off the timer so it only goes on when we are actually cold.

it has gone nippy again BUT I've decided if anyone in the house is cold then they can get off their bums and turn the heating on. If they can't be bothered then they can't be that cold ;)
