Swapped some change in a work tuck shop for a £2 coin. (I collect them and the sooner my money box is full the sooner I can smash it and bank it)
Got some bottled beer on offer at Sainsburys (12 bottles of Carling Zest for £6 so got 3 cases.) The plan is to try and put them to one side for Xmas but they probably won't last that long!)
Got a £6 off a £40 spend voucher when I paid.
Not so MSE but good deed for the day - dropped friend off in town this evening so she didn't have to pay for a taxi.#39 - Save £12k in 20250 -

-try to do a onepoll survey (am nearly at £30, only £10 till payday...finally)Mortgage free 04/03/2025. Thanks to this site and lots of overpayments bit by bit.

Chopped up and froze 8 green peppers picked from our pepper plant, at 80p each normally in the shops, this has been a success (and very satisfying!)
Took DS out for the day and took a picnic with us.
