Got a great deal on PG tips teabags in Iceland - 240 for £3! (packs are 50% extra free and a good price - extra happy Katsu :money:

Bought some white vinegar (£2.20 for 5l!) and stir-fry veggies from the Chinese supermarket. Tasty tea and cheap laundry softener/cleaner - unless I get both mixed up.

Scanned in shopping on my return and laundry out on the line.

  • I don't usually post i'm more of a lurker but here goes....

I've just upgraded my mobile phone and my new contract is £7 a month cheaper, i also checked out the phone recycling sites and i can get at least £42 for my old phone.

Did some bulk buying today so i shouldn't need to buy rice, pasta or raisins for the rest of the year (almost halved the price per kilo i was paying)

redecorating my room using paint i've got left over from other projects so a new look for free

planning meals and taking lunch to work is really helping my grocery budget too

doesn't seem much when i put it down in black and white but i feel i'm making a difference to my bank balance

    Popped out to the shops:
    * got some fairtrade tea bags for 99p instead of £3.99 as they were best before the end of last month. How much difference can it make?
    * parked in free parking and walked a bit further to and from shops - so free exercise too :)
    * scanned my shopping in
    * referred a friend to VO & IPSOS

  • Today I ....

Had a batch cook of lasagne for tea, one portion each and another 6 portions for the freezer! -phew- it was a big lasagne!

Made cupcakes for a friends birthday tomoro- a cheap but always enjoyed present. Although this time the bottom half seems to be crumbling off the cakes- any bakers out there know what might have made this happen??

Almost a nsd but ran out of lasagne sheets- only 39p for basics pack tho :D

Sorted out a few bits for fleabay, not put them on yet tho

Also cleaned out oven...not sure how that's mse but I feel it was an achievement worth mentioning!

    Enjoy your evening xx
