    I googled & I'm still none the wiser?? :huh::o:whistle:

Lavender, do you have a MFW diary?? I used to 'see' you posting on another diary (can't remember whose it was but she had lots of challenges!!) but they don't seem to be posting any more.

    Sorry for the confusion :)...

No, I don't have a diary, though perhaps I should as I get verbal diahorrea (sp? tho I'm not looking that word up as I'll be put off me dinner :rotfl:) everytime I post . Honestly, no chance of short & sweet with me!

I do like reading other's MFW diaries though, and have dipped in and out of Curlygirl's and Gallygirl's as both are very entertaining and make me laugh. Far better than the carp on telly!

In the past, I've found that I'd get "attached" to someone's diary, and then they stopped posting...not sure if that's trying to tell me something or just unfortunate timing :rotfl: It's a bit like legalised voyeurism really, but we can all learn a little something from each other, I'm sure.

I'm off to google Waitflower now..and look at the £100 offer. Is it just me that's shocked that things are now xx off £100?...used to be xx off £60 or xx off £80....I don't think I'm going to be falling for it, all you SM marketing depts better listen up!....it's only a good deal if you'd be spending £100 anyway...even a thicko like me, knows that! :rotfl:

Oh good at least I'm not the blondest on the thread, thanks pink poppy for taking that honour :D

I love reading diaries too. I think mine is a bit boring but it keeps me motivated even if no one else reads it which is good enough for me :money:

I agree £20 off £100...for just the two of us, spending £50 on an online shop is a big enough spend (particularly when I don't need anything for the cupboards or freezer, just fridge items!), spending £100...well no, I'd have to do the 6-monthly beer shop or a Christmas shop to spend that much.

That would have been really helpful US... Yesterday lol! I never thought of doing that, an excellent trick! What is the helping hand voucher?

If you buy gift vouchers in the supermarkets for other shops do you get points? If you know you are going to spend X amount in the shop it would be worth it as unhappy shopper said with b&q

I always buy gift vouchers from supermarket - either to get points or pay for them with points earned. I also buy vouchers for shops such as amazon or next to pay for any shopping I do online - again to collect the points

    MFW goal - 2020
    Current mortgage pot:£4000/£12000target for 2012

    Over the last few days I have;

Bought my mum & dad's Christmas presents (!) how super organised :D
(Bottle of Benedictine and Drambuie (on offer at Tesco £19.99 but got from Sainsburys for £23.99 and got brand match voucher as wanted to get nectar points ;)

Also got Lorraine Pascal baking book off ebay (new) for £4odd, rrp £18.99.

Already had a couple of other things aswell so sorted for them now.

This evening I used the £3.99 brand match voucher and got a load of whoopsied bread for the freezer, some cereal and some stuff for lunches. total for basketful - 40p :rotfl:

£5 Amazon x 2 from Swagbucks and Superpoints.

    £5 payback from Giffgaff.

    £8.38 from TCB.

Been using lots of veg to make soups/stews in batches so freezer has plenty of quick and healthy meals.

Think that's it for now :)

    Recently I've.......

*Went away for a long weekend but had a 24 hour stomach bug........so didn't need to eat / buy food :D
*I'd saved up the cash for the B&B - it was meant to be my treat but my BF insisted on going halves - so have paid the left overs to my Mortgage as an OP
*Watched my MPG and actually planned my petrol refills to ensure I have enough petrol to last me until I pass stations I know are going to be cheaper - this involves a spreadsheet :D
    *Charging Phone at work
*Today a free lunch at work
    *Cooking Chicken Gumbo tonight!!!! Woo-hooo
(Although not sure how MSE it will be as a lady at work told me to put Chorizo in it :o - apparantly if I do that, it makes it a Weight-Watchers Receipe :D)
    *Nectar Searches all maxed out
*Nectar Canvass doing my noggin in.
    *You Gov survey
    *Halifax Jiggery Pokery
    *Heating back off
*Placed an order with Perfume Parlour. I know this is an expense but it's a money saving expense :o I don't know about anyone else but that little spray in the morning makes all the difference to how I feel. I love Ralph Lauren Romance but at £60 for 100ml I really really can't justify it. I don't even want to justify it. So the Perfume Parlour helps satisfy the need but in an MSE friendly way :p
*My most recent OP has meant that I've now knocked of 6.66 years off my mortgage. This is clearly a bad and evil thing so am now looking for more OP money.

    Anti-MSE, Anti-Diet, Anti-everything:-
*Discovered Rachel's Organic Creamy Rice Pudding :(:(:(:(:( Please don't judge me if I buy more tonight.
