Very big congratulations to you Gailey.
(Am very jealous as I feel like a beached whale!:rotfl:)
Big hugs to all those who need them.
Well after last weeks scare at the scan have spent the week in and out of hospital. They cannot find anything wrong with me or the baby which is good news and have concluded that I must have a really big baby (as if I didn't know that!). The baby at 33 weeks is weighing in at 6lbs 7ounces. This does not surprise me as my daughter was 9lbs 6ounces so was expecting this one to be even bigger. Have another consultants appoitment in two weeks as they are mostly concerned that the baby will not engage die to too much amniotic fluid. The consultant said to be prepared for any birth as there is no way to tell which way it will go. To be honest I really have no great plans for what type of birth I have other than to deliver the baby safely. When I had my little girl the midwives and doctors laughed at my birth plan as I had written 'Will go with the flow and yes to all drugs!'
Have a good day everyone.
Jed, I wasn't over big with DS2 only put on 20lbs but due to a previous C-section they were monitoring me from approx 33 weeks at 35 weeks the scan showed he was weighing approx 8lbs, when delivered at 39 weeks by C-section he weighed in at 11lb 2oz; out-weighed the scales in the delivery room.

Cerwiden, I got the Daily Mail carrot seeds - allready planted in pots in the greenhouse..... I also planted out some cherry tomatoes, plum tomatoes (for sauces) and peppers (bell type). I had loads of packets of flower seeds so set off some of those too as we have the house on the market (currently in a small 4 bed detached but wanting to move to a 2 bed with larger garden) and it might look better with some colour....Semi-retired, cat loving, married, Norfolk living girl.0

Blimey!!! Lucky in some ways it was a c-section.
Been very naughty today as I couldn't face a big supermarket so popped into our local Waitrose which is far more compact and spent far too much! Even though I went for nothing fancy and non-brands it still cost me twice as much as I would spent on the equivalent amount in Sainsburys. Ah, well at least I made it round the supermarket as last week I had to abandon my shopping half way through and go home as I just couldn't stand for any longer and was finding it difficult to breathe! It also means we have food in the house - I was going to do an online shop but realised that we had nothing for lunch at all (all that was in the fridge were some tomatoes, butter and milk!) and no fruit what-so-ever. Well, it's done now and it should last the rest of the week.
I have sorted out all my daughters clothes for the last 3 years and have given away 6 bins bags to a friend, 10 bin bags to charity and I have 2 bin bags worth to put on ebay. I cannot believe how many clothes she had! Some still fit so they have been put back and I know have a half empty wardrobe and two spare draws - but probably not for long as still have all the laundary to get through. Will get hubby to hoover the little girls room when he gets back from work as I can no longer do that.
Have done two loads of washing today. One with underwear went into the tumble drier and the other is on the line outside. I do have to be careful with what I put outside as I have hayfever which is triggered by grass pollen so most of my things go into the tumble drier. At the moment it is not bad and as I cannot take my usual tablets I'm hoping it can be contained until after the baby is born.
Right, I'm going to see if I can at least get half a bag of clothes put on ebay this afternoon. Off I go..........:o'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'

Idiot Boy came to an arrangement with TOCD and the court case was adjourned at the last minute.
Oh no!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Poor you. I suppose you'll have to go down the anti-social behavour route?
It really make me very cross (livid really) how some people can get away with making everyone else's lives a misery and the most annoying thing is that they just don't care!
I feel your pain. We're still waiting to hear the results of the neighbours from hell court case that was meant to have taken place last Tuesday!
Anyway, giving you big hugs and I think you really deserve a strong drink of your choice.'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'

Oh GreyQueen, I am *so* sorry things haven't gone according to plan A. No matter how you tell yourself not to get your hopes up it's still horrible when things like this happen. Even though I haven't been around here for long, I feel really wretched for you - you deserved better.
I've got everything crossed that it is just a very temporary set back and the H.O. and people will be able to sort it really soon.
In the mean time, enjoy that drink with SuperGran - and make sure you have a double.0 -

On the courgette front, our favourite is chopped or crushed garlic in a little oil then grate the courgettes straight into the hot pan stirring occasionally. Must plant more courgette seeds!"A thousand candles can be lit from a single candle without shortening the life of that candle."
