Someone told me about this and I thought you lot should be aware. If ever there was a reason to grow your own, then this is it! Just be aware.

What's it about, redlady? I can only get the front page when I click on your link - was it about changing best before dates? There was a link to that but when I clicked I just got Wayne Rooney back again!
Well, good news and bad news. On Friday I was so excited, as we had finished the bedroom (sort of) and DH called me to say the carpet fitter was there which meant we had finally managed to get rid of the really s*******!!!! carpet in the bedroom - which was a sort of pink and grey houndstooth check  - and replace it with a nice, CLEAN, oatmealy-coloured new carpet.
I got home and DH said, come and see the new carpet (we're so sad - we always roll round on new carpets)
So we went upstairs and...
found the dog had weed all over it.:eek::eek: A huge big wet patch, right in the middle. I can't tell you how gutted I was. So I spent Friday evening and a large portion of Saturday CLEANING our brand new carpet
I THINK it is now clean. I'm sure it is - it's just that it spoilt my happy day. How sad am I, with all the far worse things going on in the world :rotfl::rotfl:
Anyway, weekend has been spent mainly in the garden, and it's DS's 19th birthday today (not sure how this is possible, as I'm SURE I'm only 27), so we went out for supper tonight - bonus non-cook day. Whoever said does the house get neglected, yes it does: most of the contents of my bedroom are still stacked ceiling-high in my sewing room, but I have managed to clear large tracts of my vegetable patch. The thermometer on our patio read 28 degrees today while I was slaving away digging up buttercups. I am shattered now, and still have to iron my suit for tomorrow. Oh well, happy days, make the most of the sunshine, apparently it's all going the way of the pear from about Tuesday isn't it?

Couldnae get the News of the World article you mentioned.
It kept coming up with the "get a free trial" thing - and I tried to get into the "out of date food scam" headline I presume you meant - but couldnt - because the "free trial" thing kept popping up.
Presume its some sort of paywall?0 -
Hi all,
I too could not get the article.
We have had lots of yellow ball fun here this weekend and some pink fun but luckily no red and peeling
Lots of gardening. Lots of playing - 3DGSs and 2DGDs - lovely:)
Lots of cooking and feeding and LOTS of washing up!
Great start to the Easter holidays. Lovely to have our 3 together with us, along with respective families. I love it when we have meals together even though we now number 12. Doesn't happen that frequently so I make the most of it when it does:):)

First time on here since last week.
Very big congratulations to you Gailey.
(Am very jealous as I feel like a beached whale!:rotfl:)
Big hugs to all those who need them.
Well after last weeks scare at the scan have spent the week in and out of hospital. They cannot find anything wrong with me or the baby which is good news and have concluded that I must have a really big baby (as if I didn't know that!). The baby at 33 weeks is weighing in at 6lbs 7ounces. This does not surprise me as my daughter was 9lbs 6ounces so was expecting this one to be even bigger. Have another consultants appoitment in two weeks as they are mostly concerned that the baby will not engage die to too much amniotic fluid. The consultant said to be prepared for any birth as there is no way to tell which way it will go. To be honest I really have no great plans for what type of birth I have other than to deliver the baby safely. When I had my little girl the midwives and doctors laughed at my birth plan as I had written 'Will go with the flow and yes to all drugs!'
Anyway due to feeling really heavy and achey I've not really gone anywhere so have tried not to spend any money (the internet is lethal!).
What I must really do is get my bum in gear and list the the room full of stuff that I have to sell on ebay and this should give me some extra money.
Ordered the carpet for my little girls room which is being delivered a week today and the room is still not emptied let alone painted. My hubby is starting to panic and is blaming me for asking for such an early fitting date. The problem with my hubby is that if he was left to his own devices nothing and I mean nothing would ever be done. He seems to work on his own timescale that in no way is the same as everyone elses. As a result I deliberately book things to make him do stuff by a certain date. His parents say he was the same as a child so there is no hope of changing him! :rotfl: Ah, well you cannot have it all.
Have a good day everyone.'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'
Proud Mummy to two gorgeous miracles.:j0
