I also do my recipes in plastic pockets in an A4 folder with subdivisions for mains/ soups/ puddings etc as I can't give my limited houseroom to volumes just because there are one or two recipes in there I like. I have a folder on my pooter called Recipes ( I know, how boring) and save them in there as Word docs and then print them after I've rewritten them in a way which is sensible to me. When I'm cooking, I take the relevent plastic pocket out and tape it to the door of the wall-cabinet nearest the stove. Keeps it in view but out of the way. Anyway, being that they're on the PC anyway, I can just fling them at mates as email attachments, and a good recipe gets about a bit.
.
I have afolder on my PC as well and save all as word docs, so not boring, I put alot of the ones I get from here on MSE into that folder. My self & hubby; 2 sons (30 & 26). Hubby also a found daughter (37).
Eldest son has his own house with partner & her 2 children (11 & 10)

I am also now going through charity shops to see what clothes there are. I am looking for a couple of linen shirts. Went into 2 shops today, but did not find any. I have a few charity shops to hunt through still.:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:D:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:jMe and the gang!!!0

Have successfully avoided the shops all week :j My Nsd's are upto 6 so far and I am very happy with the situation. I am planning the garden and was just thinking I may have to work upwards when I saw the Tufnel Park project. Im running out of space for seeds to grow as both mini greenhouses are crammed but am still worried about having a succession of crops. I thought maybe a stack of plant pots going smaller and smaller would give me room for a tower of climbing plants so am going to have a go.
I have also been busy in my new craft room, what a luxury to have a work table and to be able to leave the sewing machine plugged in ready to go. Ds left a mattress protector which I washed and cut up to make a bolster cushion, thought it might make reading in bed less painful what with my collar bone problem and arthiritis.
Anyway hope everyone has a peaceful weekend with the yellow ball visible to all of us - if nothing else we can get everything washed and dried :TClearing the junk to travel light

Thanks for the lovely picture Lauren - gorgeous baby!
Sammy-kaye's baby also cute!
Would have had a no-spend day today, but had an early appointment at the hospital - can't use the free bus pass before 9am, so had to fork out £1.60 bus fare. But, because I got the park and ride bus instead of the usual one that comes up here, I did save about a pound. Am now on the list to have my cataract op.
Was at hosp yesterday too - cardiology - and have actually been discharged for the time being (apart from the pacemaker clinic). Have at last got my meds about right.Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!0 -

On another note, does anyone know how I can stop homeserve from ringing? They are calling almost every day and yesterday it was twice. We have a drain insurance with them but they are always trying to sell us more.
