i have spent many tiring years lounging on a deckchair watching my father toiling in the garden to know i am not at all cut out for gardening! my father is 83 and has a 2 acre garden with about 20 acreas of paddocks for horses --i hate the toil! he says its the secret of his longevity but i would rather be enert! i am a town dweller that likes flats with gardens done by groundsmen. -the new house i am hoping has a small garden that my MİL is willing to cultivate---my FİL and i sit in the garden of our current summer home offering advice to her as she toils--whilst relaxing of course!mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0

I am absolutely dreading my car insurance renewal this year due in may..and after the European ruling regarding gender and not allowing it to be used a s a risk factor in calculating cost I fear next year is going to see insurance across the board rocket even higher. Hmmm wonder how we are supposed to pay for that little gem of a decision:mad:!
Yes...thats a given (ie that women will be paying more for car insurance - now that sex discrimination in insurance payments has been made illegal). HOWSOMEVER - women will feel the beneficial effect of not being overcharged and/or underpaid for private pensions or private health insurance and such type things for much longer:D:T:D:T:D:T. At long - bl**dy last:beer:. I dont know how many women there are out there who have been unable to implement their decisions as to how to manage their finances for literally years now because they would be treated unfairly and do worse financially if they did so. I know I have ALWAYS made whatever financial decisions I decided to make personally - but have then found that I couldnt proceed with some of them because I would be overcharged and/or underpaid just because I'm a woman:cool:. My reaction to this has been "Blow you then you **** firm and I will wait for sex discrimination to be made illegal and then I will think again...". I have waited over 10 years for these sorts of sex discrimination to be made illegal and at long last I will be able to make up my mind freely as a PERSON:D:T:D:T:D:T:beer:. So - overall - I think women will gain from this and I am trying not to be too "sighing in relief/jubilant" that some very longstanding decisions of mine can now be acted upon soon...
Personally - I am absolutely furious with the Media for portraying this whole thing totally backwards on. Its a huge victory for women actually - but is being portrayed as "bad news"...:mad:0 -
Lovely pics FTM, well done you. Am very jealous of your lottie, I'd love one but a) none available and b) I don't have the time to commit to it with the kids being so young at the mo. Ho hum my little veggie patch will have to suffice for now.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife
