i had problems with travel lodge and spent hours trying to talk to someone - i finally got a result when i emailed guy parson.
if you google CEO of travel lodge email address a website comes up with all email addresses for all CEO's for all the major companies.0 -
Am quite worried now about all the rooms i booked...although i don't think I fell into the trap of booking any of them more than once.
I just hope I can cancel the ones I don't need...family coming, haven't made minds up yet about who, which TL and how many.0 -
I have just emailed the CEO of Travelodge with my frustrations & complaint, I thought if he can't help then surely there is no help at all. Will let you all know if I get sorted. I will never use Travelodge again!!0

You will get your money back but it will be several days, possibly longer. Travelodge are too handy at this error and charge you for the privilege of ringing to report it.
The new website has been a disaster, yet the old one wasn't great either. The main problem lies with their ability to hide and make it difficult/expensive to contact them when it all goes wrong.
Worryingly, when I fell foul of the dreaded repeat transactions and subsequent ringfencing, I rang Consumer Direct and they stated that I was not necessarily entitled to my money back under TL's T&Cs!!!:eek:0 -

Oh god think this is what just happened to me!
I just tried to book a couple of nights and it went as far as putting my Barclays passcode in then froze for ages, I rang the bank to see if any money had come out and they said definitely not so I've done the booking again.
Hope it doesn't come out twice! If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in
