Hopefully once the cough has stopped you'll have washboard stomach muscles :rotfl:
I've already got one of those!! Seriously, 30 years of coughing have given me a stomach of steel. One of the few perks.

Which will be useful for getting your washing done...
On a slightly more serious note - have you tried a cough-suppressant like pholcodine?

I can't have cough mixture really as I'm supposed to cough the phlegm up and get it out of my lungs.
Speaking of which, I just went out to get petrol and had a massive coughing fit and threw up a lot of phlegm - seriously loads. Then because of that, I was actually sick - I have a really bad gag reflex. This was all in the car. I was sat there crying and asked OH to run in and get something to clean it up with (we had literally just got home). He came back and ordered me inside and said he would clean it up.
He cleaned it up and then made himself sick :rotfl:. Sorry, I know it's disgusting but we were laughing about it when we sorted it all out.
The good news is that I haven't coughed as much since so I think I have really cleared my lungs. Might stand a chance of getting some sleep now :j.

I was wrong
. Took me ages to get to sleep. I slept in the front room again and had to sleep on the sofa in the end. Woke up around 5am and transferred myself to the airbed for another hour. Got a splitting headache today. Don't think I have ever had a cough/cold go on for this long.

Thanks Beccie. I've been waiting so long, I've often been tempted just to put the rest of the money towards it. But I like the idea of being able to say 'I've got a free bed!!'.
After that, I'm going to start saving for some bedding for it. I think a super king duvet and a couple of new duvet sets are in order.

Thanks Pap - I think if this doesn't shift soon, they will stick an IV line in.
We are getting this bed - http://www.amazon.co.uk/King-Size-Black-Prado-Ottoman/dp/B004OJMHW2/ref=sr_1_3?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1308323334&sr=1-3
Mainly getting it because you can put stuff underneath it. Since OH moved in, we don't have much storage for towels and bedding.
