What a miserable day - and the tennis is rained off. Was looking forward to seeing Andy Murray in the final. Will be able to watch tomorrow though. One of the best perks about working from home :D.

Didn't get that much sleep last night. I ended up sleeping on the sofa at 2am. I always seem to be able to sleep on the sofa.

Back at the hospital tomorrow morning for a glucose tolerance test. Need to be there at 8.30am, but at least I will be able to park okay. Starving myself from 8.30pm tonight so better have a little binge of sugar before then ;).

Didn't spend any money all weekend. Shouldn't spend much tomorrow either, apart from £1.60 for parking at the hospital.

Just had my last meal (until tomorrow lunchtime). OH said about going to McDonalds and getting me a chicken nugget meal. I know this little trick of his - he will say that he'll buy it for me and then only have a couple of quid on him so I have to chip in the rest. I'm not falling for that one sunshine. So I said no and did some chicken dippers and wedges in the oven instead.

OH is now watching the grand prix - no wait - he's watching a wet track with no cars going around it. The only funny moment was a cameraman falling over. It's like me sitting there watching a covered centre court at Queens (which I didn't). Maybe I should watch it with him, it might send me to sleep ;).

I forgot to mention that I won a pair of Odeon cinema tickets the other day -free film for OH and I when they come through (and when this cough goes away) :T.

5 needles, 2 blood tests, 16 hours with no food and a bottle of Lucozade later and my glucose tolerance test is done for another year. Damn my rubbish veins which don't like to give any blood. I've got 3 puncture wounds on my good arm, 1 in my hand where they managed to take the first lot of blood from and another in exactly the same place that evil nurse tried to get blood from last week. Let me tell you, it stung stung stung.

Back at my mum's now to stuff my face ;).

You can actually get a port fitted, which is like permanent access for blood and IV lines. Will probably have to get one of those fitted before too long.

Just put my SIM card into my broken phone to take my numbers off before I sent it off to a phone recycling place for a fiver. I thought I would test it to see if it was still faulty - and it wasn't. Bonus for me, I have a phone with Bluetooth that works again. Sure glad I didn't buy one with my Amazon vouchers now.

I also got a letter from IQor saying they now have one of my debts (not one of the 3 missing ones). So I have done a letter for them and will post it tomorrow.

Oh, and well done to Andy Murray for winning the Aegon Championship at Queens. It was a great match :T:T

I need a decent night's sleep. I tried to sleep on the sofa again as I had a massive coughing fit just before I went to bed and it really hurt my chest. I don't think it's helping me that OH still has a slight cold (just a cough now really) but he doesn't cover his mouth when he coughs or sneezes - he just lets those germs spread everywhere. So I'm going to keep my distance from him until he gets rid of his cough. I'll pump up the airbed tonight and sleep on that.

It doesn't help that he is constantly hanging around at the moment. He has decided to 'work from home' today, so I'll be escaping to my mum's the first chance I get.

Off to the library later to get my niece some new books and a new one for me. Better get together a list of some that I like, otherwise I'll get a rubbish one like I did last time.

Just had a sleep-deprived go at OH. I asked him to try to remember to cover his mouth when he coughs and sneezes (not the first time I have mentioned this to him). His response: 'but I'm not well' (in a pathetic voice). So I let rip and asked him how he thinks I feel after 3 weeks without a decent night's sleep. He turned around and went back to sleep - water off a (dying) duck's back.

Hi Emz, sounds like a good plan of attack with the debts. If not trying to pay them back is going to stress you out then it's best to tackle them head on x
