    No they don't. Trust me.

You still need to combine the speeds, but I'll trust you too.

    Ha ha.

I think if you look at it differently and just calculate at the energy that is stored in each car... energy that has to be dissipated in order for the cars to come to a complete halt, you may see what I'm on about.

I just don't think I have time to do the calculation when faced with hitting on oncoming driver or swerving and hitting the tree.;). Chuck a wall on the otherside of the road into the equation and I'd really be out of my depth and look for the ejector seat button.:o

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Or even consider not wearing a seatbelt.

I always feel something is missing when I cycle (keep thinking I need a seatbelt) :rotfl:

    Probably just laziness.....

Apart from the obvious risk to myself (and that irksome 'law' stuff), am I really doing anything that bad?

For the record, I always wear it on the m-way and on most country roads. It's just around town, really, that I sometimes find it annoying and may 'forget' to put it on for a bit. I do always insist on any passengers buckling up, btw.

    Thoughts?

You always insist on your passengers wearing one, but don't yourself? Bit strange.

Might not be doing anything 'bad', but if you crash chances are you'll come off with more injuries than if you where wearing a seatbelt, possibly need to go to hospital, wasting their time and money all because you 'forgot' to wear your seatbelt.

I hate not wearing a seatbelt, only done it a couple of times while on duty and feels really strange, much rather put it on.
What is pi? Where did it come from?

Always. I can't even put my (too full) handbag on the passenger seat without it beeping until I take it off again!

I wonder is the relationship between the numbers of cyclists injured in rti/a's to motorists.

I really bet that would make interesting reading, (coming from a 9 life cycling cat), ;)
