Does anyone have Orange Broadband?

I am possibly looking at changing my broadband provider, I am currently with Pipex paying £20.00. I'm not actually 100% sure what I am paying for anymore though, I have no idea what the download limit is or what the meg limit is. (I have no idea what I am talking about by the way). With Orange I will get up to 20 meg speed, unlimited downloads and a nice new router. For £20 a month and then £70 back through Quidco. I think quidco also says first 3 months is free, but the orange website doesn't say that.

I just wondered if anyone had orange broadband and what they thought, and maybe peoples opinions on if I should change or not?

Thanks :)

TT to Horange=frying pan to fire.
Do a search for Orange Broadband on here and you will not find much positive comment.
    or see here:

Go to https://www.samknows.com and see what your other LLU options are by way of an exchange search.

Agree with macman. Stay away from Orange.

Another vote - virtually anyone rather than HORRANGE!!
  • I've recently taken Orange BB & Home Phone because, as a long term Orange mobile customer, I get unlimited landline calls + the unlimited BB for £21.50 a month including line rental - a saving of £5 a month for me personally. I've also been given a £50 credit which will cover the first two bills plus, obviously, £7 towards the third.

My take on it is this - I had TalkTalk home phone and broadband a number of years ago and everywhere I looked online had absolute horror stories about them. I was advised to pretty much sell my firstborn rather than go with TalkTalk. But I was with them for 3 years and didn't have a single issue with them whatsoever.

The BB speed was well within what I needed it for and the landline was perfectly ok as well. So that's largely the reason I went with Orange.

But that's just me - obviously I would advise the OP to go with whatever they feel comfortable with. Obviously i fully accept I could have an absolute nightmare with Orange over the coming 18 months, but we'll see.

Plusnet? You need to use the referrals board if you want to solicit referrals, not allowed on here.

Whats the difference between me mentioning 'Plus' when others have commented on; orange, pipex and talk talk??
I thought this site is all about passing on information about possible savings, and 'plus' is a lot cheaper than these others.

You can mention Plusnet as much as you like, but your purpose in providing your username is to get the Plusnet referral discount, which you neglected to mention.
You cannot solicit referrals on this board, use the referrals board if you wish to do so.
And Plusnet is £6.49 only on a Market 3 exchange.

I've been with orange broadband and homephone for 8 months, Broadband OK. I did have some problems with not receiving emails, which seems to have been a common problem on Orange according to other forums, however as far as I know it's now sorted but difficult to be sure.
When my 18 months is up I will see what offers. I did find O2 were good but Orange had a good deal on at the time.

I've swapped to Orange in December, from BT and had no issues (to date!)

Since joining Plusnet, they keep sending E’mails asking users to recommend them. So I followed the instructions but didn’t realise the implications you have stated. Rapped knuckles accepted, and thanks.
By the way, What do you mean by ‘Market 3 exchange’?
