Easyjet hand baggage

Hi all
Am flying Easyjet and reading their hand baggage rules they say it's only one bag eg either a laptop, or a hand bag, or a hand baggae bag etc.
Now this is probably a really stupid question
(and I do understand the concept of '1' - honestly) but if I put my laptop in it's case and handbag in a bag that fits the hand baggae size requirements is this ok or will someone say I am effectively taking 3 bags ???
As I say - apologies again for the no doubt very stupid question.

No, that's fine for Easyjet. You will need to take the laptop out when going through baggage screening.0

Ignoring the whole security issue about what you can have in your bag the theory is you can have anything in your bag as long as its contained within that 1 bag, ie you could have a small rucksack full of handbags which in turn are full of carrier bags.Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0

yep, as long as you can fit it all in one cabin-sized bag, it doesn't matter how many "bags" you have in there.0

I assumed that was the case (no pun intended :rotfl:) but thanks for putting my mind at rest

Yes just shove it all in one bag, that's what I do - my handbag (which is fairly large as women's bags tend to be LOL) just gets put into my travel holdall when checking-in ... then when I'm round the corner, I take it out. All a bit silly really!!0

It's not silly at all.Goldielocks wrote: »All a bit silly really!!
EasyJet staff might also check what you're carrying at the Gate.
And because all your hand luggage must be able to fit in one bag, no bigger than the prescribed dimensions, it stops people taking the mickey.
I love watching people struggle putting a 25KG bag in the overhead locker.0 -
Don't try that with Ryanair. One bags means one bag and that includes everything you buy at the airport.Goldielocks wrote: »... then when I'm round the corner, I take it out. All a bit silly really!!IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

With Easyjet you just have to be able to put it into the overhead locker unassisted. If you can lift 25kg then thats your limit. With Ryanair its 10kg.is there a weight restriction as well as size restriction on hand luggage ?IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.
