  • After 30 days or so we won't be able to search for the item on e-bay.
She can then safely post an image of it, or tell us about it if she wishes.

I am as eager as any to know which one it was, but I wholeheartely respect her right to privacy.

I don't blame Norma for getting the thread removed following this type of tosh from people on the original thread and now on here. I hope it works out well for her - especially as this will really annoy some people even more.

If everyone decided to keep their purchases quiet then it would be a very dull board.

It would be great to have a happy ending to this painting saga, I have been following the thread with interest too, not in a threatening way I might add, it would just be nice to know that Norma found something amazing. But perhaps the painting wasn't what she thought it was and she is too embarassed to come back and tell us?

I agree that would be the most likely case.

Hang on, she never she she was 100% certain it was genuine, and even so she paid around £20. Why would she be embarassed?

I think she's been jolly sporting throughout the whole episode, and has brought lots of entertainment to this often repetitive board.

  • This was a very interesting topic, but i've always wondered if norma had grabbed such a bargain why on earth did she send a cheque? I would have paid via paypal to have the item immediately.
