Town and City Parking yet again...

Truthfully, I just believe its a waste of time taking into account esmerobbo's post above.
I am just going to forget them and laugh at every letter I recieve from them in future.
And Taffy, I am aware of the fact that PPC's cannot legally issue fines because I effectively posted asking about that. I have no intention of paying, they can get lost, I dont respond to extortion attempts as it for one is a criminal offence and can result in a 5 year prison term! By twisting it into a "fine"/"charge" they think it makes it legal when it is far from it!0 -
You have taken them too seriously the letters are just a chain, it would have been better not to contact them at all, but there is no harm done.
All they have is a registration No of a car, they have then acquired the keepers details from DVLA. They have no idea who was driving, and even if they did they can not fine them! They could try and sue the driver for breach of contract, but they wont because they wont win!
That's why they send aggressive letters and talk crap on the phone. Trying to intimidate you in to paying. The best course of action from now on is just to simply ignore them. As for them reporting your telephone call, thats just another idle threat.
You will find the Town & City and the A A Hutton letters here!

Just a quick side note, I noticed that these images are very small and not easy to read, but I have recieved a letter identical to the third in that list by appearance. You might be aware that the small images are almost impossible to read thus my offer to help on this site by supplying better quality, and larger images if that is not a problem. Also worth noting is that I have still not recieved photographs of my vehicle in the post yet...0 -
Just a quick update, I have still not heard anything from either Town & City Parking or A. A. Hutton LLP yet...0

If you do you know what to do, Ignore0 -
Believe me, no intentions of paying, and no intentions of answering them if and when they do send me anymore letters...0

Well I have heard from them again today and they have sent me a letter containing "evidence" of my vehicle being parked where they claim. All the document they have sent me contains is details of the "fine" they have imposed against me, nothing more. There is however one small issue, there is no photograph (as I requested to see) anywhere in the document. Is it therefore safe to assume that they do not have one and thus cannot do anything about it?
Further, I have recieved yet another letter from A. A. Hutton stating the following:
(Of course, this letter contains my name and address, registration number and a reference number along with an outrageously expensive number to call.)We refer to to our previous correspondence in relation to the above outstanding debt. Unless settlement or a suitible repayment arrangement is received by us within the next 7 days, we shall have no alternative but to consider instructing legal proceedings against you in relation to this matter.
You should be aware that if a Court Order (Decree) is granted against you, you may incur additional legal costs. The recording of a Decree against you is a matter of public record and your credit status could be affected. To arrange settlement or a repayment arrangement, please contact us immediately on the above number.
Then it goes on about trading name and then at the bottom is what appears to be a bank pay in slip for them.
What next?
This is really beginning to bother me now...0 -

Do THAT!Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
I get that, should I contact the police for harassment????0
