An independent Renault garage should have the equipment to do the coding if needed

    That's what I wrote.
The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark

Nope you said an "Authorised" i said "Independent"

An independent garage does not have to be authorised by Renault and is often allot cheaper

"Authorised" means "independent" as well as "franchised." Only "authorised" Reanault repairers have the relevant equipment, software and links to install Renault stereos.

Of course it does not, Authorised means they have got Renaults permission same as franchised.

Independent is just that nothing to do with Renault, they don't need to be authorised to have the equipment

I take my Vectra to an independent Vauxhall garage nothing to do with Vauxhall but he has the Tech 2 equipment to update software etc on the car
