Tink - go and see your M.P. (he/she will have weekly surgerys - mine does, even though he's Alistair Darling).
Explain everything; that this is the 4th time and it's always the same guy; and that speaking to JCP staff hasn't done you any good.
That's the fastest and best way. JCP staff will have to act on an M.P.'s letter - nothing else quite works as well.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

Have you any idea how many staff it will tie down dealing with an MP's letter ? Far too many. The OP would be better off asking to speak to the guy's supervisor rather than taking it to MP's, chief executives, the Citizens Advice etc.
I mean, why limit it at the MP ? Why not the Prime Minister or the Queen (he's one of her loyal servants, after all) ... or the Pope if he's RC ?
You know, half the time people complain about DWP staff not because they've got a legitimate complaint, it's simply because being at the bottom of the heap they've got no other organisation to complain about. And complaining makes them feel better even though the substance of their complaint is a shower of old cobblers.I no longer contribute to the Benefits & Tax Credits forum.0 -
As opposed to a lot of jobcentre staff being !!!!! mucking around with peoples living expenses?

I still say that mentioning this to her M.P. is a good idea... and it seems tink has a legitimate complaint.
One consequence - going by the experience of my friend's wife who had a similar complaint - is that the JCP won't mess tink around again.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.
