oooh that sounds interesting, I am due for a new boiler shortly due for scale. I don't have a combi and I am not in love with them, having heard how often they break down even when fairly new. Are the boilers with a small cylinder more reliable than the new combis, and do you have a brand name I can look into? My plumber has suggested a Vaillant. I have a 3 bed semi.

To my mind, if you are short on space, but still want two bathrooms and a kitchen, the EcoTec is a good solution.0
