For us humans we have church services to 'celebrate the life of....' Someone gets up and says 'nice things' about the deceased. Perhaps you could do the same and privately remember the good times, weren't they all good? Dogs in particular become a major part in their 'friends' (I can't use the word owner) lives. My two Jack Russells have been my best friends and to be honest I can't even bring myself to think of the time when I have one or even none. Bear up! I guarantee that at least once a day you'll remember your friend and smile. Be of stout heart, think of your dog as just being in the other room. :A

So very sorry for your loss, Tasha. Such a heartbreaking time - I lost my beloved cat a few days before you lost Holly and have cried every day since.
My thoughts are with you xx
RIP Marmaduke 04.02.11, MIsty 09.06.12 and Rufus 19.7.24 very, very sadly missed xxx

I really feel for you. My sister and her husband had to have one of their (5) dogs PTS last week. It doesn't help that they have four others. They live on a farm and have a Pet Cemetery and have been able to bury her there. It is so sad to lose a member of the family.
