For future reference this type of Q would be better served on the Consumer Rights board ;)

    .

The man has a point, this might as well be a thread about an electric toothbrush :o

Placed in a bettererer location on the forum, it would see far more responses from people with similar experiences.

well under the terms of Amazon, I am responsible, unles it is a Amazon product. In regards to the correct section for this thread, there has been a number of questions, which post service to use, how to contact amazon etc... so it is difficult to put in the right section of mse.

I have contacted a private currier today, and they are collecting tomorrow. Post Office counters wanted £13.50 to send, Myhemes wants £7.12 - Thanks MSE
Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!

Still better off on the Consumer Rights board as against a Motoring board as the Qs are Consumer related, i.e Statutory Rights.

If the seller is acting/selling as a business, then Amazons T&Cs mean nothing as the seller will still be liable under SoGA, T&Cs of ANY company cannot take away Statutory Rights.

I am a bit ticked with this. the seller has now received my faulty jump starter but wont give me a full refund. They tell me they are taking £5.00 off, and wont give me the postage i used to return the product. I contacted amazon, little joy, am I entitled to a full refund and return postage?

Posts #21 and #24 gave you your answer.

No business seller can take away your statutory rights.

You have a statutory right to a refund of the cost of getting the thing back to the seller.
This was clearly explained in post #21.

I know you said you can read what has been stated but...

Post your question on the Consumer Rights board.
